According to the podcast, architecture began as a shelter but it is not the only, nor the main purpose of the career. I totally agree with this thought. Architecture is a term that includes many aspects. Architects aim to the comfort of the people that will be using the space. In that way, confort means not only shelter but easy access, lit and fresh spaces, among others.

In the other hand, urban designers care about bigger spaces like the city. They should care about the highway administration, the public spaces, the concept of the whole city. There are so many places bad designed because people do not attend to all the needs of the city, generally they skip factors that could determine the design. Others think that anyone could do the job of the urban designers, but they are wrong. I think that urban desing is a very important career and people should give it more credit.
